The Mattos Designs III-Lok™ Gel Lok Connector functions as a streamlined integration point for LED installations, accommodating three wires on the input side and three wires on the output side within a single housing. Users insert ground, power, or data wires directly into the connector, removing the necessity to strip insulation. Operation involves squeezing the button-down mechanism with standard pliers to displace internal gel, which seals the open ports and prevents moisture intrusion.
This device was refined as a 2023 upgrade based on customer feedback and is sold in a 20-Pack configuration. Utilizing a U.S. Patent Pending design, it consolidates connections that historically required three separate connectors per splice. The system is built for pixel replacement activities and pigtail additions, ensuring stable electrical continuity where water-resistant properties are critical.
